F0202 'AMPHIBIAN' TRACK Upper Triassic, Passaic Formation Upper Montclair, NJ, USA $125.00 set $75.00 each separately
Well defined 'amphibian' track, about 4 cm. long, in shale from the upper horizons of the Passaic formation just below the Orange Mountain basalt. Some kind of drag mark is on the back of the larger piece. This stratigraphic position is just about at the Triassic/Jurassic chronological boundary. Both positive and negative impressions are available as a set or separately. Pieces weigh 1 lb and less than 1 lb each. Specimen size - approx 20 cm X 19 cm X 1 cm and 9.5 cm X 6.5 cm X .7 cm
