Mineral Specimens - Esperite, Franklin, NJ

Greasy white esperite in hardystonite with imbedded franklinite.

The hardystonite is altering into esperite along minute fractures

resulting in a 'wispy' look to the esperite. The strong fluorescence

of the esperite overpowers the hardystonite fluorescence to the

extent that the hardystonite is difficult to see

 Specimen size - approx. 8.75 cm   X  8.1 cm   X  4.4 cm.
