   Thick seam of mcgovernite rosettes on typical

   Sterling ore. McGovernite is a rare mineral with

   an extremely complex structure and chemistry.

   It is unknown from Franklin and elsewhere.

   a calcite contact. There is tirodite in the

   HENDRICKSITE

   Franklin, Sussex County, NJ, USA

    Black mica crystals in minor calcite matrix.

    Hendricksite is basically a zinc rich phlogopite

    unique to the Franklin/Sterling Hill area.

    Unfortunately, the specimen has been repaired.
